Where does ship dock ?: Cruise ships dock at the Port of Piraeus, about seven miles from Athens. An important port since antiquity, it's actually made up of three harbors: Megas Limani, where cruise ships come in; Zea Limani, where most of the ferries and hydrofoils come in from the islands; and Mikrolimano for the yatchs.

Depart the port of Piraeus and take a short drive by motor coach into cosmopolitan Athens. Pass the yatch harbor of Zea, and along Mikrolimanon’s waterfront, lined with inviting al fresco fish restaurants. Arrive at the Acropolis for a breathtaking view of antiquity as you look upwards towards the marvelous structure of the Parthenon. Be led up the pathway and steps leading through the massive Propylaia onto the rock of the Acropolis itself. Relive the " glory that was Greece " as you walk over this masterpiece. View the Parthenon, the delicate temple of the Wingless Victory, the Erechteion and the entire city of Athens below. Enjoy a Greek lunch in a local restaurant in Plaka. Continue with a panoramic drive of the city on your way to the famous National Archaeological Museum. Pass the Temple of Zeus, the Panatheanic Stadium, the House of Parliament, Constitution Sq. and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the National Academy, the Library, University and the Presidential Megaron. Take a short walking tour to the Plaka area for free time on your own and watch the world go by.
