     My husband and I found Celsus Travel through TripAdvisor’s forums and booked a 5 day/4 night private tour with them last month and we had an amazing trip. To start, they were very professional and efficient throughout the planning phase and communicated promptly through emails. They were even helpful when we requested for assistance outside the scope of our trip with them. They answered all our questions and adjusted everything to fit our schedule and preferences, booking hotels and arranging sight-seeing according to our requests. During our trip, they picked us up at the bus station and we were driven in a private car throughout the whole trip. We visited sites at Ephesus, Selcuk, Seringe, Priene, Miletus, Apollo Temple at Didyma, and took a day cruise to the surrounding beaches. Our 2 tour guides (Yesim at Ephesus, and Yigit for all the other sites) were both knowledgeable and professional, and spoke fluent English. We were given historical background of all the sites as well as details regarding their restorations. Yigit even explained the meaning of ancient graffiti carved at some of the sites. They were extremely accommodating and flexible with our requests, taking us to the best seafood restaurant in Kusadasi and shopping for local music CDs. When we decided to change one of our day-plan entirely at the last minute, they promptly made suggestions and arrangements without any extra charge to us. We plan to travel with them again when we go back to see the other parts of Turkey, and would highly recommend them to anyone as well.

    Guys; me and my family are very thankful for the great tour to Ephesus and house of Mary on june 16th. Especially our guide Yigit Ergen was fantastic. He was very friendly, knowledgable.We appreciate sharing his knowledge with us. We highly recommend him to any one .We hope to come back to Turkey again and again.

    We had a fantastic time on our tour with Idyit (sp?) Ergen. He was extremely knowledgable, polite and most accommodating to our group's needs. A highlight was having him order several dishes for us to sample at the restaurant in Selcuk. We also enjoyed the Turkish Bath experience! I wrote up a favorable review of our trip on TripAdvisor, it will be posted soon. Also, I will make mention of Celsus Travel in our Cruise Critic cruise review when I get a chance.     This email is to say thanks for the great service we received from Celsus Travel. The help you provided by email prior to our visit was great, and we appreciated all your advice. The travel arrangements you made were perfect – this included our flights to and from Istanbul, transfers to and from Izmir airport and the really nice Charisma hotel in Kusadasi. The day we spent with you on the Ephesus tour was wonderful and stands out as a real highlight of our whole trip. I am very pleased I choose Celsus Travel and a private tour – it was the best.

    The rug we bought at the co - op arrived today, coming safely half way around the world to us in New Zealand. We were so pleased we bought it at the beginning of our trip, under your watchful eye. It was great to be able to say" no thank you " to all the hawkers in Istanbul.

    All Van Driesen's are safe and sound in Virginia, New York and Poland. Jenny has received her carpets and says they are even more beautiful in her house than in the showroom. She is so happy she bought them with you rather than waiting to get to Istanbul. She felt she would have been overwhelmed by all of the carpet stores there. We all loved your country and were very sad to leave. The best thing was that we started out with you. We were able to become used to the currency, the foods, the geography and the rich history of your country. You were absolutely right.

    Turkey has the best of everything - olive oil, tea, fresh vegetables, spices, history and the best guide ever - you.     I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our tour of Ephesus and the House of Virgin Mary on 25/09/07.  Sinan was awesome!  He's extremely knowledgeable and professional and the taxi was clean and comfortable.  Sinan made sure that we stayed on schedule but we never felt rushed.  On the way back to the port we stopped at a ceramics shop where we saw the pieces being hand molded and then saw the beautiful finished products in the shop.

    We were heading to Istanbul when we returned to port, so Sinan was able to give us a lot of useful information for our visit there as well.

    Thank you & Sinan for a wonderful experience.  We all loved Izmir and Turkey and hope to be back again some day when we can stay longer.  If I know of anyone that will be visiting Turkey, I will definitely give them your name!
